Education. A Doctor of Chiropractic has 4 years of undergraduate studies in sciences plus 4 years of graduate school, which is the Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree. This graduate school includes several years in the classroom to learn about radiology, pediatrics, geriatric care, nutritional medicine and psychiatry. The final year is spent doing a chiropractic internship.

License: A chiropractor must be licensed by the California Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is required annually to complete continuing education in person.
